wtf
15 seconds later of wtf
Note the packets increased alot but in task manager the network usage is zero.
This has been happening off and on now for about a month.
Virus scans as you see on the upper right corner do not detect anything.
I ran netstat and netstat -e neither of them show anything weird.
I don't see any obvious viruses running in my taskmanager.

What could be causing my connection status saying my computer is sending out billions of packets at a time?
a virus, which, and how do I remove it?
a weird networking problem that I should just ignore?
or a weird windows problem that I should just ignore?

Sorry about cross posting but I would like an answer soon so I know if I should disconnect the lan cable, cause I'm sure the IT guys at my school wont like me pounding on the LAN all night long.

Well due to the lack of response I'll leave it connected to the lan. If I get a lovely e-mail from IT about my computer fvcking stuff up then I'll know its a virus.

good night all

fobot.com
install the network monitor driver (ip properties-protocols)

use network monitor to see if you really are dDos'ing someone or if its a glitch

also download that openports freeware to see if you have any active connections going out from your box

Okay I installed open ports the only open ports that I see are port 80, nothing strange there.

And I installed the service but I have no idea what to do after that.

Do a netstat -a see how many ports are actually open. I had a work collegue that had the 1-5000 ports opened by some rogue trojan running in the background, helpw.exe I think it was named. Spammed the lan so much it fecked his connection up too.
