Hi tommo123,

Yes! Sensible Vision makes a face login for Windows. It is incredibly fast and accurate. In the next month we will offer an app for Apple and Android that synchronizes with your PC, so that your passwords will be remembered and entered for you in the presence of your face and the push of a button. You no longer need to type passwords on the tiny mobile screens. Our technology is mature - we have six million paid licenses worldwide.

Download at:

http://www.sensiblevision.com/en-us/home.aspx

And info on the mobile product:

Download the PC version and then let me know if you are interested in beta on the mobile. kim[at]sensiblevision[dot]com

Thanks,
Kim

I have used a facial recognition login on a dell notebook. It does work fine. but... Why waste the battery? Seriously it will just sit there at the login screen honking the hell out of your battery while scanning for a face.

My Lenovo netbook has it with windows 7. Works. The app is called veriface and offers encryption of files/folders also, I haven't messed with that feature at all. I like it better than password entry, until I grow a beard, then I have to kill the veriface and enter passwd.

My Alienware came with it, never worked very well so I disabled it. Made me long for the fingerprint reader on my old thinkpad.

I am actually liking the product linked by Sensible vision. I was getting lazy at home and my laptop already had a webcam and I decided to give it a try, and it worked quite well. I will probably be buying it later today.
