For whatever reason, the included kernel in 10.2 hates my T23. I can't even finish the install process with ACPI enabled, only way I can get it to go through is by using APM and even then it still feezes at completely random times for no apparent reason what so ever. So, after switching to a vanilla kernel from kernels.org the laptop has been perfect, absolutely no freezing at all. The only "problem" is I'm still using APM instead of ACPI. I have a new HDD coming for this laptop and I'd like to do a clean install with an ACPI enabled kernel, but not the included Suse kernel. Is it possible to slipstream a newer(non suse) kernel into my existing install disc?
