If I open up a streamed MP3 from a website and play it in winamp, is there anyway I can record or pull the file down to my local drive? I usually listen to digitallyimported.com and some of the songs played I can't find anywhere. Is it possible to save this streaming music somehow?

if it is in mp3 form try doing a search in your temporary internet files to find it.

or sometimes if you search the source code for the page they will have the url of the file name so you can copy the url into something else and then rightclick -save target as.

total recorder is good for streaming audio though.

Can't you just set Winamp's output to Diskwriter instead of DirectSound or WaveOut?

Isn't that what it's for?
