possible to learn piano with a book only?

I'm no stranger to music, I've played bass for a few years, and I can play some guitar as well. But I am far from a musician..

Anyway, been thinking of giving the piano a try, but don't feel like spending money on lesons. Anybody know of a good book that'll teach me all the basics, something that teaches both theory and practical things..and has nice songs.
