Quite often you don't have to commit a crime to be wanted by the police. Perhaps an ex girl friend accused you of assault. Perhaps your ex-wife filed a motion that you kept the kids longer then you were supposed to and filed a contempt against you. There are lots of ways that someone could be wanted by the police without doing anything.

But how likely is it when you are "a friend" of the OP and the OP mentioned doing something highly illegal for "a friend" only a month ago?
