Possible SETI web page downtime on June 8

Hey folks, your neighborhood insider here. Got this e-mail today:

sunspot.ssl.berkeley.edu, the labs primary DNS, mail gateway, web
server and annex dialup server will be unavailable Saturday, June 8
from 7AM - 5PM for system upgrades and maintenance.

What this means is that during this outage:
...
- web pages at http:/ssl.berkeley.edu will be unavailable.
...

But does this still applie with SETI having their own pipe now?

I don't know, I was guessing from the URL. If they serve from a different computer, then they probably won't be down.

Well, the web-server is still using the old route.
Since they haven't used the same "creative routing" with the web-server as the wu-server, they're probably keeping the web-server on the same old route for now.

Sounds like the web server will be down then.
