Possible SETI problem

Hi-

I'd like to know what's going on here. I set up 2 computers last night with SETI command line version. I have the SETI driver configured the same, but one of the machines has 2 ready to transmit and the other one has 0? The progress bars for both of them are moving.

They both been going 24 hours. The one with 2 ready to transmit is T-Bird at 1.5 gHz. The one with 0 is a PIII 866. I could swear the Pentium's progress bar has completed at least once.

Do you have one set for auto transmit but not the other?

If you have one set for auto transmit it may have already flushed the ones it crunched. The other would have two because it is waiting for you to tell it to transmit.

No, they are both configured the same as far as I can tell. The Pentium is 1, 9, 0, 0 for Processing, Waiting to Process, Need to Fill, Ready to Transmit. The other is 1,6,3,2. Est Total times are 8:26 and 7:33 respectively.

Is there any thing I can do to see whats going on?

I think that's normal as SETIDriver only works on one at a time and if it hasn't gotten to that particular WU yet, then there would be nothing in that folder's file....

You could monitor for a short while, the progress bar to make sure that it is indeed moving and not froze...I've had this happen before....hmmmmm?

I'll think more on it..😕

The progress bar isn't frozen. I've been watching it move. The problem is that I know its completed at least one, but ready to transmit is still 0.

I wasn't there to watch, but the Pentium machine finished its unit. The SETI Driver still says 1 Processing, 9 Waiting to Process, and 0 Need to Fill and Ready to Transmit. The weird thing is that the state.sah file in folder 9 is now empty but the one in folder 8 has 4 kb of data???

Those WU times are way too long for both machines. What software is running? Do you have any screensavers running?
