Possible SCSI card failure?

I was looking thru my Event Viewer on Windows XP Pro. I came across this:



<< The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Scsi\aic78xx1. >>



So far I haven't had any problems burning cd's or using the drive to read cd's. The only thing connected to this controller is my Yamaha 50pin 16/10/40 CD-RW.

Would it be safe to assume that this SCSI card is failing? If so anyone have an Adaptec 2940U2 for sale/trade?

I get something like that once a while, ide ports, 8042 (serial), dunno , everything works fine..
