Possible Relationship Problem

So this girl that I've dated off and on for a couple years (and will probably wind up marrying someday) and I have a problem. She's always cold, and I'm always hot. I drive around constantly with my AC on...even at night. She complains that it's too cold. I don't mind turning it down for a while.

The real problem is sleeping at night. I'm laying in bed, completely hot, sweating, irritated at the heat. I can't stand it, but she's laying there saying "It's too cold!" and will NOT let me turn on the Air Conditioner or open a window or turn on a fan or ANYTHING.

I'm thinking..."Why don't you just bundle up and sleep?" I mean, it's much easier to warm up then to cool down. What could I possibly do to cool down when I'm already practically naked with no covers at all...and I'm still sweating!?

Anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like you need to sit down and talk about it. Point out that using less heat saves on your energy bill, meaning you can take her out to dinner more (or whatever her flavor.)

Possibly just have sex every night so that you are not too cold.

Slowly slide out of the bed, creep down the hallway, my informant told me that she keeps your balls in a jar on the top shelf over the stove, quick, now is your chance, get them back.

Just talk to her, same issue with my fiancee though, she's always cold I'm always hot.

But I just make it comfortable for myself at night and she just bundles up more while I usually sleep with no covers on in must my boxers.

Very common problem. Unfortunately, most people just don't see the logic of bundle up. Your best bet is to buy her warm nightgowns. Alteratively make her do all the work in bed ie cowgirl. Maybe she won't be so cold right away at least.

For the record, I live in an area that has just about the cheapest electricity in the entire world.

My girl is a Louisiana Girl (1946 vintage) and she loves it 90 degrees with 90% humidity. I am a Michigan Irish Sitter mix. I told her that if she wouldn't allow AC I would with hold heat in the winter. We agreed to a 6 PM to 6 AM AC period. I suffer in the daytime but am cool at night which is what I NEED.
ps We never set the thermostat lower than 80.

You have priority. She can always get more blankets, you can only take so much off. This is the way of things

This is simple really, and since most men are the same way - and most women are also the same way (proof that their cold blooded) this is a common problem in relationships with a common solution. Maybe she needs to sleep in warmer cloths, warmer socks, and/or more blankets. Regardless, the solutions for the females are endless, and for you they are not.

Any women who doesn't understand this logical way of things should be thrown to the curb.

Sorry about being obtuse. I just wanted to tell the story of my wife (from La.) who is 59. She hates AC and like it hot & steamy. We settled on a night time AC to help me sleep. I use the AC to lower the humidity more so than the temp.

This is the problem that EVERY man and woman couple has. The solution is that she needs to use more covers. If she bitches about it then she's an inconsiderate idiot.

Yep, most couples seem to have that problem. Typically, women simply need higher temperatures than men need. However, once menopause hits, the reverse is often true. So, I suggest you just date women who are 55+ years old and everything will be fine.

My current GF is the worst with this issue. It can be 95°F, sunny and humid, I'm sweating like a pig, and she'll ask if she needs to bring a sweater. I just shrug and say "yes". Luckilly for me, when in bed, she calls me a radiator. I'm so hot that it makes her hot to cuddle next to me. That way, at night, I get to break her undying rule of never setting the AC below 80°F.

I need it like freezing ass cold in my room for me to get any sleep. As in window open in the middle of winter in Rochester NY with a fan on high pointed right on me kinda cold. 80 degrees? Fvck that. She can sleep outside if she likes it that hot.
