I have a Chaintech Apogee board with an XP2100+ processor, no overclocking. My reported temp. for the CPU is 52C and for the mainboard it's 32C. I know that anything above 50C is considered bad for a CPU, so what's the quickest way to bring the temp down?? I have the retail hsf on there now, and two exhaust fans. Should I try installing some intake fans?? Or should I just do a new hsf combo on the CPU?? Suggestions?? Any help??

I wouldn't be concerned at a reading of 52C. I guess we need another of those threads titled

cool <=40C======= fine ========60C=> hot 😀
