Possible power supply problem

The dreaded power supply question...

Probly the hardest problem to diagnose but I'll give it a go. My rig has recently been randomly bluescreening. It had previously been overclocked (e8400 @ 4 ghz with very reasonable temps, 55 @ load) but I then put it back down and ran prime95 and all was good. The BSOD's occur at completely random times, most of them when my system is doing basically nothing. The gpu is not overclocked and I have checked for viruses and nothing seems awry. I don't really have any other systems to cross reference the parts with. I've never really had power supply problems and the PSU is a good corsair model. Does this sound like a bad PSU problem?

RIG:

e8400
5770
Gigabyte GA-ep45-ud3p
corsair pi series ram

Bluescreens are usually a driver crashing the machine. Open Event Viewer, go into one of the red errors, and check out the info.

Your RAM is more than likely failing. Use LinX and Memtest HCI to test.

Keep your FSB but change your multi to a 6 to relieve some of the pressure on the CPU - keep your voltage settings the same. Memtest HCI, or LinX
