Ok,

This is what I have to go with. I have an ENLIGHT case to begin with.
I can not recall the model of case off the top of my head. The problem
is that there are only a few very tiny pore holes in the bottom front of the plastic part of the case. What I was wanting to do is use a drill
to make the pore holes bigger. As we all know this would make it easier
for dust to collect inside the case. So, my thoughts are to use some of that material used in A/C for the air filter (Blue filter material).
My two concerns are: will the A/C material be too thick for air flow and
would this be bad about collecting static :(?

Thanks in advance

I have an Enlight 7237 and I drilled out the holes in the front bezel and cut away the metal grid covering the fan. I don't have any filter and I don't find the dust to be a real big problem. I'm in and out of my case a lot though so it's easy to give it a quick dusting or shot of compressed air. FYI: you can see some pics of my case at my site or in my Yahoo briefcase.

Dan,

Did your case get significantly louder after you installed a blowhole up top? Might be adding one with a nice quiet Panaflo 92MM fan to my LianLi PC60.. Already upgraded the stock fans so I have 117 CFM instead of 93 CFM (not counting airflow that Enermax PSU dual fans take out).

Thanks

The exhaust blowhole didn't appreciably increase my system's noise. What makesit loud at this point is the Delta "screamer" on the SK heatsink. I'm searching various sites like 2cooktek, Millisec, etc. looking for something nearly as effective but much quieter to use as a replacement. In fact, I plan to replace 3 case fans as well in an effort to improve cooling while simultaneously reducing the noise.
