I'm considering buying either an opteron 144 or a venice 3200+. Which of these chips can i overclock the most using a standard AMD hsf and standard voltage. I just want to see which one performs better while changing a minimum (voltage wise) and using a stock hsf. The mobo is an epox 9npa+ (nf4 ultra board) and either 2x512 corsair xms (3200) or 2x512 mushkin hp3200 (blueline). any help is appreciated.

probably the opteron 144. however, luck is involved. if you get a venice E6 core, overclocking potential will be slim. if you get an E3 it will have a chance of beating the opteron.
