Sale begins tomorrow! What is everyone hoping for this year?

The real question, at least for me, is will they have what I want? BL2 DLC packs and Rome 2 all I'm really looking for. Rome 2 needs to hit 50% off or better for me to bite on it. I plan to grab as many BL2 DLC as I can get. I'm almost through the game and need to get ready for going beyond it.

Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 2 DLC's were 66% off during Steam Summer Sale 2013. I expect them to have at least the same discount this winter.

Yeah pretty safe bet that BL2 will go on sale tomorrow, or within the week.

I hope the recent Batman is on sale and also Bioshock Infinite. I've really only been playing TF2, L4D2, and Ride To Hell Retribution recently so I could use some new stuff.

Too many games in in my folder that I haven't played. All I'm looking for is a good sale on Skyrim DLCs (which I recently started playing again, so would be down for some new content in that world).

Either way, I will likely be spending at least 30 dollars by the end. Fuck you, steam!

The only game that even sparked my interest was farcry 3. If it gets below $20 I might get it.

Besides that, there has not been anything since the release of left 4 dead 2 that even looks good.

I would love to see some kind of mix between doom and left 4 dead. But it seems that game companies are just rehashing the same ole games over and over.

Skyrim was pretty good to start with. But it got old after a couple of hours.

Metro Last Light, Crysis 3 and FC 3 interest me, but Crysis 3 and FC 3 would have to be really cheap, 10.00 or less. Metro Last Light interests me the most, might pay more for that. Maybe some Skyrim DLC. Otherwise, I have too many games unplayed to keep buying them up no matter how cheap.

I created a steam account for my grandkids to use on a spare computer at my house.

When prices get really low I buy games to gift to the grandkids account. Sure beats paying full price for console games.

That way when the grandkoids come over and spend the night they have something to play.

Start following the "bundle" sales (if you don't already from Humble Bundle, Bundle Stars, etc. You can get some amazing deals on those sites for Steam games. I'm way, way behind when it comes to gaming but by waiting I've never paid more than $5 for any game. It also means I don't need the latest video card to play the games.

Baldurs Gate II Enhanced Edition - that's target #1 for me.

And I still need to pick up Legend of Grimrock.

And Witcher 3.

And Tomb Raider looked cool too.

Same here. Have barely played half the games I bought during the Summer sale, and I didn't really buy that many in the first place.

Ironically I hold off buying games I might actually want to play, because I know they'll go on sale for <€10 some months later.

Only thing I'm looking for is Skyrim, too bad the LE came out because now they don't discount the original that much. I bought the X3 humble bundle so that's hundreds of hours of gameplay. The humble bundles have been as bad as Steam games since you get so many games.

yup, just posted about it today and got an e-mail from steam. Probably the best price for awhile. Now I wondering if I should hold out for LE since I booked for awhile with other games.

I would imagine that the cheapest you will ever see LE is $15--maybe next year's sale. maybe.

But I can see $20 being the lowest it will ever dip. Consider that the standard price for Dragonborn DLC is still $20.
