Possible? I'm gay and want to be straight. Help!

Does anyone have any advice, suggestions, or experience in the area? It's a super long story... but I would really like to "turn" straight. Until now, I've said that it can't be done, and that it's not a choice. Prove me wrong. I don't remember ever choosing to be gay... I just turned out that way. You know what though? I'm tired of all of the criticism, being ostracised, being taken out of the crowd, etc. I want to be straight. HELP!

You know, I've heard that every girl is only a couple of drinks away from a girl on girl experince, so maybe if you're gay, a couple of drinks will set you straight, at least for a few hours? I'm voting no, though.

Sure thing. Here's how...


Get pictures of hot guys, and pictures of hot girls, as well. Sit down nekkid, and look at the pictures of the hot girl. If nothing happens down there, look at the ones of the guys. If something begins to happen, slash your arms with a sharp blade. Then look at the girl again...if nothing happens, go back to the guys, slash your arms, etc. etc. etc. until you are either bloodless or too scared to NOT get turned on by the women!

Oh, me personally, I wouldn't change my ways just because some people didn't approve of my lifestyle.

But then I'm not in your shoes, so I don't know what to say except good luck.

were you molestered? because sometimes people who are end up gay, and i guess if they got therapy or what not they might stop acting out like that. others, i believe, are naturally gay, and there's not much that can be done about that...

this thread is going to be flame fest soon.

anyway, I voted that it is possible, b/c i've talked w/ ppl who have changed. One guy i talked w/ had been a practicing homosexual for about 25 years and changed. It's near an evolutionary impossibility for there to be a gay gene, thus I think homosexuality is purely a nurture thing, not a nature, and as such change is technically possible, though i'm sure very hard, and not necessary.
