General speaking, it doesn't matter what's the price you buy the product, what matters is what's the cheapest price.
If shop A offer the cheapest price for $xxx, as long as you buy it within $xxx+ 250 (AMEX only matches $250 max per transaction), you will eventually get the stuff at $xxx.
