Possible Hot Deal For Napster Lovers

If you like to burn CD's off of Napster then make quality labels for the CD then I found a deal for you. I use the NEATO Glossy Labels and at Office Max they are $1.00 each. NEATO is offering their quality clear glossy labels for $ 69.95 which is no deal but when you buy it you get 100 , yes I said 100, 80 minute 12x plain front CDR's. Dont know the type and dont care because my burner and player has never made a coaster on the tons of different types that I burn with. Linked For Ya :)
I hope this is a good deal for some folks. For myself it is a HOT DEAL because I buy lables like they are going out of style. In fact I am going to get several of these so I can be stocked up for a while.

A $2.99 black marker works fine for me. In fact, I'd call that a pretty hot deal compared to the label route.:p

The real Jewel of this thread is George W. Chimp. Thanks Serzone!

Making fun of the President is why Saturday Night Live has survived all these years. I remember Chevy Chase falling down like Ford, which dates me a bit. Anyway, whatever your political affiliation, this is one funny site.

Labels for CD's??? Who needs them.

Get a HP CD-Printer...print at 600dpi color directly onto CD's.

You can, like labels, put any image and/or text onto the CD.

Example...my Office2000K Premium CD is scratched up a bunch. I scan the CD for the image, copy the CD data, print the CD-image onto the new cd...almost a perfect replica. Well, the original is a stamped CD, my backup-copy has blue/gold/yellow data tracks...

Of course my CD Printer is at my work, so I didn't have to pay for it...something like $1200 I believe.

No need for any flaming folks. I was merely stating that if you buy labels as my friends and I do and download music from Napster , this is a deal for you. I have as much fun making a cool label as I do getting free music. Thats all. Dont get all worked up about it. If you dont appreciate the deal then you dont need to participate in the thread. I am not trying to be a smart a*s either.

BDDT, why not just hit EDIT under your first post and change the thread title. I think there is some confusion about your post being something for Napster.

Probably because that's the only way anyone would read his post. (I know it's the only reason for me)
I'm with serzone:

VAPOR

Did I hear an echo? I already stated the above. If you don't like it use outpost.com and search by SKU which I kindly provided. If you'd like to help out a fellow anandtecher then clickthru my website. I feel Outpost has a good product and they deliver Riki-tic, Thats why I became an "affilliate" not a Rep. their products matched my websites content and name. Anyone with a website can become an affilliate. All of these products were listed here as hot deals at one time, and I purchased from outpost with my free Flooze found here. While exploring their site I found their affilliate program. Outpost rates a 10 in my book.

Posting a link to ones website in a sig is no crime, Nor is stating where to find a product cheaper, better and delivered faster. However I have not posted any affilliate links which would be against the forum rules As you have suggested

Can someone tell me how to make a link in a sig?

Outpost is owned by Airborne Express I believe. The way they stay in business is that they use the "free overnight delivery" as a marketing tool. They do this to cut revenue losses by not having empty space on their planes. They will ship the product overnight if there is empty space on the planes. It still uses the "overnight delivery" service and most of the time there is empty space. If there isn't then it takes until the next flight but as long as its going via "overnight delivery" they aren't misleading the customer.

They are able to cut revenue losses this way. Imagine if UPS started doing something like this. :)

Wal-mart has the cd labeler kits for $20 bucks(marked down from $25) and a 100 pack of cd neato brand labels for $15 which beats everyone! The good thing is that I get 10% off cause I work there:)

You can have your items shipped UPS free from outpost also. When checking out click alternate shipping methods. Airborne won't leave my packages in the garage as instructed, So I have them shipped by UPS instead. Outpost contracts shipping by volume container and the contract allows for reduced cost. Outpost contacts the whole plane and if they have leftover space, the "space-A' is sold.

I love labels. They give you CD's a personal and better look than just a Sharpie pen. Also in my car it's easier to find a cd with a distinct label rather than reading the CD. Also the labels protect the top layer of my CD-r's that are from CompUSA (cheepies) cause they started to flake off. For CD labels I have found that the Matte labels made by CD Stomper are much better quality than the Matte Neato ones. I notice that on my Epson 740 the ink bleeds less on the CD Stomper brand and the Neato bleeds a lot more. I also use the SureThing CD labeler program which is the best out there! Works with almost anything. I have a link for a pretty good deal on labels but I have not purchased from them. I was planning on ordering there when I finished with my supply. So here is the link for the CD Labels (200 labels for 9.00) . I don't see a template on Surething for this type of labels so I was gonna email them and ask them if they are Surething compatible. If not then I would go with Outpost for the labels since they are overnight shipping for the CD Stomper brand. Hope this helps!
