I wasn't aware that Christians had any sort of enforced law, nor Jews now that I think about it.
Isn't Sharia law the one where they kill gays and women that allow themselves to be raped?
I'll be the first to admit that I'm woefully ignorant about the Muslim religion, as many of the outward manifestations of that faith I find very off putting.

Sharia Law exists in Israel of all places. Just because you're a'scared of Mooselmans doesn't change the fact that Sharia Law is just one more talking point you've been trained to shit your pants about, without even knowing what it is.

Also, protip: just pointing at one example of something doesn't make it apply to everything else. The Sharia Law you've been trained to shit yourself over in Afghanistan isn't the default version of Sharia Law, just like some Mooselman who says scary words before killing a bunch of people and himself doesn't represent all of the Mooselmans.

To me, this is quite simple: if someone practices aspects of Sharia law that are against American law, then... well, they've committed crimes. However, simply expressing support for that law? No. That's McCarthyism at its worst.

Supporting Sharia law doesn't mean you want to conduct terrorist attacks. You may not be a very tolerant person, but you're not doing anything illegal by voicing your opinion. Look at it this way: if the US kicked people out of the country for believing in ideologies that only kinda sorta might lead to extremism, then it'd have to make anti-abortion and anti-LGBT speech illegal. As hateful as those views are, that kind of censorship just isn't right.
