And this, my friend, is why you have no soul. 🙁
I wouldn't pay over $1500.
I don't care how much internet forum e-penis value it gives you, the car is over 20 years old and outdated on almost every level.

Holy f*ck! Give him $5K cash and a handjob right stat quick!
🙄
very well balanced and great to drive.
new BMW's have no soul compared to the E30
the last of the light nimble BMW's
Ok Michael Fucking Shumacher and the rest of the clowns, I bet 99% of you don't regularly track your cars and 95% of you have never laid foot on a track so what's the point other than people having an exaggerated, overinflated opinion of this car and you being an automatic cool guy if you own one.
A new BMW is better for 99.9% of buyers than an E30 on every level. You keep preaching that "soul" sales pitch though.
Internet forums relate E30's, Miata's, and Jeep 4.0's, to be gods gift to mankind.
I'm sorry but too many people are stuck living in the past, with the "everything new sucks compared to what I grew up with 85 years ago" mentality.
If you think 30K for that kind of car is worth it I would think you are lying to yourself and paying more for the badge than what you actually get.
You have no soul.
And my car has seen a track.
Great logic there.
It's all in the soul of the car, thats right. Nothing to do with the fact that they're a handfull of BMW hardcore enthusiasts with deep pockets willing to drive prices through the roof on those mind blowing performance figures.
If it's worth it to you, you should really dish out and buy one, seriously....
I already have the car I want. Obviously you don't care about cars, so maybe you should go post somewhere else.
How about no.
What car do you have, I want to know what someone with a good eye for soul buys.
If it's a collector's car and you actually think you could turn around and get some cash for it, sure, but in the same vein as Bouzouki's post let's be clear. This is a 25 year old car that has not even been put in gear in 20 years. You frankly have no idea if it works. Maybe it was pulled in one evening after a lovely summer drive and the owner simply thereafter forgot he owned an M3. Or maybe he limped home after killing the engine. Maybe it's been draped with a perfect body or maybe sheep has been sh*ting on it for 20 years. It could be a real find but I think it is far from a sure thing. Quite literally every part of it would need to be looked at if not repaired, from the tires through the brakes to all seals anywhere at all. And that assumes that it was in fact put away in good condition.
Oh wow, I can sense the soul oozing out of those cars, it's pretty intense.
I can totally make sense of your opinion now.
It's certainly worth looking at..
You are an odd little man. 😕
The only odd one is the guy who (I am assuming is not a collector) would pay 30K for a 25 year old M3 when he can get a 4 year old M3 for the same price.
He's looking at $5k, not $30k.

This. It's a nice car and, i'm sure, fun to drive, but mid 80s beemers are ugly(this one's my style, mid 90s beemers are so much better looking). I wouldn't have paid $25k for one new, much less 24 years later.
For 5k, maybe, as long as it could easily and cheaply be repaired. Emphasis on cheap.
