Possible Computer to TV setup...

Is there any cheap way to link a computer to a TV if the computer is in a room directly above the TV. I don't really want to drill holes. It wouldn't be permanent, but it would be fun to do. I could run a long DVI to HDMI cable to the computer. I could also link the coaxial cable in this way; I would just run it up the stairs and into the adjacent room to the stair way. But how could I run a keyboard and mouse. I don't believe there are any wireless systems that could penetrate 10 feet and through the floor. I could use a USB extension for mouse and keyboard.

I guess I could just run the hassle of moving the computer down stairs whenever I want to edit or watch videos, play games, etc...

What do you think. This may seem kinda weird, but I want to try it.

You are looking for a wireless tv transmitter I believe - there's quite a range of them available - just google for it.
