That looks nice, how is the Tegra2 chipset performing? I'll tell ya though the fragmentation in Android can get frustrating, lots of " your device is not supported" messages from Google, you know, WTF, let me D/L it and give it a try anyway fucknuts Google..

I'm surprised no one has come up with a plug-in extra battery pack so a device can be used for longer when your gonna be away from a place to plug it in, it could like piggy-back on the back and supply enough juice to get to that 8-10 hour mark..

Price listed at $107 shipped for me, still a good deal though. Looks like they skimped on the battery size though but if you can live with that great deal on a low-end tablet..Edit, I'm wrong, refreshing the page got the $75 price, that is a smoking deal IMO (if you don't mind waiting awhile to get it)..

Google maps has a feature to let you pre-cache maps. In Maps settings go to Labs >> Pre-cache Map area.

yeah but pita imo. if copilot cost more, i would think twice; but its really cheap for what it does, and i think its much better then google's free map software, at least for real time driving.

totally agreed. like, i cant believe they even make that res for that size. its painful to look at. think crt televisions but worse.

I have one and it's not "painful" at all LOL, have you ever owned/used a "7 tab at that res.?sure, higher is always better but you sound like the type that's pre-programmed to make that statement without actually spending time using one. Just don't bother outputting games via the HDMI to a big screen, now that is painful!..

i have used a pandigital tablet with 800x480 res. it was awful.

i also have a liliput vga 7" monitor in my car that is 800x840. its not that bad, but i also look at it from 3ft away whereas the tablet you hold it close. even far away though, the pandigital screen was just hideous and i suppose part of that wasnt the resolutions fault.

Yea, we had a Pandigital Novel, epic POS, slow, underpowered and the worst display I've ever seen..

You will be totally underwhelmed and disappointed..

thats an outright lie. they will be shocked that anyone would think they could make something like that and actually get people to pay for it. then they will be shocked that people buy it. and finally they will be shocked that these tablets keep getting publicity.

My wife got one for the B+N books but boy, what a pig, we were actually kinda happy we left it on the sofa and the dog stepped on it's screen, cracking it..
