Possible bad CPU?

Working on new build but cannot get it to boot. All fans Except for CPU fan Fire up. Hard, DVD drive, GPU all power up. I thought that since the cpu fan would not fire up it was a motherboard issue. I replaced the MB but still have the same problem. I have tried the stock cooler and an aftermarket. Will the fan not run because the CPU is fried?

Any help would be appreciated

Have tried stock cooler and Artic freezer pro 7.

did u take out the cmos battery and unplug the power and flush it?
also go into the bios and change fan on functions like at power.boot.smart?

the answer is in your bios bud

I don't use the cpu fan header on the DS3 motherboard but instead connect my cpu's fan directly to the power supply. The DS3 delays the starting of the fan for a few seconds and just plain bugs me so I took care of this. 😉

The fan could be dead too so you should check that first.

I actually got a dead E4300 from fry's. I did so much damn testing and multiple bios flashes that I knew 100% it was at fault.

So beware of the E4300.
