I'm writing from the Marriott in Richmond, VA (what a hotel!*). I'm here doing some work with the Virginia Attorney Generals office. I'm making contacts in the IT department there, and I might try to talk about getting their network into the fray. Don't know what chances I've got, but it's worth a shot. The AGs office here has several hundred PCs, Celeron or better.

Mmmmmmm, key-licious.

I'll keep you posted.

* This is a helluva room I'm in. Couch, loveseat, two chairs, dining table with 6 seats, don't know why I needed a room like this, but as long as the company is paying for it I won't complain. :)

Boberfett,

How long you going to be downtown? Damn, I wish I had known you were around today.....we could have done lunch. My office is just a couple of blocks from the Marriott. Yeah...it is nice isn't it.

PM me.

Hey, come on up to the room tomorrow afternoon Mike! We can hit the lounge for a few drinks. :)

I'll be checking out Saturday morning, heading back up to DC to fly out of Dulles. I don't have a cell phone with me, but if you wanted to leave a message for me, I'm in room 1827, ph 643-3400.

Boberfett - without your last name no hotel worth anything will connect with just a room number. I like Marriotts, I was a Platnum member of their frequent stayer program for quite a while. My wife and I went to Maui for a week on the points. Make sure you join their program if you already haven't.

I used to work for AlliedSignal and spent a decent amount of time in the Richmond area. I like that Marriott. I had a 100% travel job for close to 4 years so I got to know hotels really, really well.
