This doesn't have the blowdryer motor that the 5800 Ultra had, this is a big fan that can push some air at lower RPMs.

Yup, I have an Aspire X-QPack, that will change when I finish up my custom case but until then no dual slot for me

I see one I think. In the bottom left pic, blow it up. I *think* I see a black connector, where it is supposed to be. Then if you look at the next pic, where it is upside down, you can see it from the back. And the two little black "hooks" for it.

The fan layout doesnt make much sense to me though. Does it blow out the back, or both front and back? Id like to know which it is, if this is a real pic.

I agree about exhausting air out of the back, but the 7800 runs cooler than the 6800 does. Is 55C very hot to you?
