Possibility of getting verizon service with K800i?

Hey guys, in my area verizon has the best service but the compromise is lack of phone choices. If i purchased an unlocked Sony ericsson K800i could i activate it with verizon serivice??

No chance of it working, Verizon is CDMA while the phone is GSM, different networks

Not a chance even if it were CDMA; Verizon will only activate phones for which they have the ESN/MEID in their systems.

edit: After looking up some info on that phone, ugh. Not only is it sony, it's pretty ugly. If you want a phone with a nice camera, VZW offers the Samsung A990, but it's pretty spendy.

Yea A990 is really thick and it hits the wallet pretty hard.
