Say you know someone that works for iTunes. He/she has obtained a half a terabyte of music without paying for it and is willing to give it to you to make a copy. What would you do? Very specific poll.

Provided you were not going to purchase those songs from itunes anyway, then there's no way itunes is losing any money from you copying those songs. Benefit to me, no loss to anyone else, I'll take it.

Thats why I included the poll. You either DL music anyways or you don't, and you would take it or you wouldn't.

Anyways, 500GB of iTunes songs at $.99 per song...

...taking possession of that music in violation of Apple/iTunes TOS constitutes felony theft by receiving; probably grand theft in most states.

I like iTunes. I have it installed on 2 of my PCs.

I'd rather purchase a CD to own a better quality representation of the recording. I'd then be able to make my own MP3s from the tangible media.

I wouldn't waste that much of my HDD space on music that probably sucks (i.e. not much I'd probably listen to or don't already have). If I want music, I get music... if I really think that CD is worth it, I buy it. If I don't think it's worth it ( maybe 1 or 2 good songs? ), I won't buy it (but maybe will buy the single if there is one).
