I was unable to get this to work but several other users have; I got this off trillian's forums.....
<< 1) Open the AIM webpage (www.aim.com) and point yourself to the list of chat rooms they have.
2) Start the AIM connection process through Trillian. At this point, if everyone's having consistent issues with the connection, you should manage to connect and have the ability to send IMs but see no buddy list.
3) After you are connected but before you get Flapped off, connect yourself to one of the chat rooms. The link should open a chat automatically in Trillian. It was just after I did so and got into the chat room that my contact list came back on, and I've been connected ever since.
