Portlanders, read me!

Where exactly are those two streets in SE Portland (near SE 39th - 41st) do they have the homes with light decorations?

hey, I can't help you with portland, but I can tell you that Corvallis homes suck at putting up lights 😀 I can't wait to go home.

Peakock Ave.? Not sure... I know it's right next to a Safeway...

The other one is CandyCane Lane, and I have no idea where it is.

Nik {hasn't been there in YEARS}

Nik, I think that might be it!

I kept wanting to say "Pittock mansion" but I knew that isn't right.

Actually, if you move in to one of the houses on one of those streets, part of the agreement of your living there (you actually have to sign an agreement) is that you put up absolutely everything that the previous owners put up, the year before. Anything else that you add, you have to keep putting up in the following years and will be added to the list of things that the next owners will have to put up if you ever sell the house and move.

It's a local tradition that has been around for years. I LOVE GOING! 🙂

Didn't rain today, it was just really realllllly cloudy... almost to the point of being misty. it was weird!

Yea, peacock lane. I might be going there tomorrow with wife & kid too. Hopefully no rain, now that we've had rain here for 32 days straight!

Yeah it was pretty nice that it didn't rain today, too bad I was stuck at work until 6:30 PM!

Does it cost to visit Peacock Lane?

I don't think it costs to visit peacock...

Sucks to work till 630 on a holiday weekend! I left home from macadam today at 12:30, and traffic was already starting to suck on I-5 north.

<< No, RossMAN, it does not cost to walk down a public sidewalk at night. 🙂

Thanks smart ass 😉

Since we've been blessed with another clear night, think we'll be leaving for Peacock Lane in a few minutes.
