Got out of a contract last year and went pre-paid, I got T-Mobile FlexPay the other day and wanted to port my number, the chick there said I couldn't port to a flexpay plan, the guy said I could. He helped me and when he found out it was a pre-paid he said there's no way to port the number. He couldn't explain to me why,
Googling this is turning up different answers and a lot of people speculating. Basically I had a Go-Phone with AT&T and want my number ported to my T-Mobile, I don't 100% trust what the guy at the T-Mobile store told me, maybe he was right but maybe he just didn't know how to do it.
