Porter ranch fire CA

Anyone else in the Porter Ranch area? I work about 2 miles from PR and it looks as iff the whole area is going up. Wish I had my USB cable to post photo's as it looks really dire.

Tis the month. How are the winds up there, blowing here but not too try yet. Used to live straight north of porter ranch (Stevenson Ranch). Had the 03 fire burn to the back wall. Now in SD, fire burned north of us 4k feet east to west... Ugh, october

Yeah its burning down about a 1/4 mile from my folks house. Might have to spend the night on the roof with a hose, been awhile since Ive done that.

Its a really nice area, but yeah living on the edge of mountains has its downside in SoCal. And yes its a separate fire.

If you define really nice as way out in the BFE where nobody wants to visit you with a ton of dry shrubbery that can catch on fire at any given time, then yes I agree!

Well they evacuating North Chatsworth (where I work) so it may be a half day for me Though prob a long night.

There's a forest fire on angel island in the SF bay last night (maybe still going), there are tiny ashes covering my car this morning and some flew into my house. Fucking fire.

Wel I just spent the last 2 hours on my parents roof in PR, fire got about 4 blocks away then the helicopters hit it hard, looks like my folks home will be OK. Though they are evacuating everything above Rinaldi st in Porter Ranch/Northridge

They are afraid it could burn all the way to the ocean via Malibu.
