Seeing as how Portal 1 was more like an epic tech demo of the portal gun, I wonder what this one will be about...
 
I never understood the hype for this game. I only played it for about 30 minutes though. Does a story actually evolve out of it or is it puzzle after puzzle?

Yes and it's both subtle and head on. My first entire play through portal was probably the best 3-4 hours of gaming I've ever experienced.

I'm curious to see head to head screen shots and game play videos to see what improvements have been made to the source engine for this game.
 
Its hard to overstate my saaaatisfaction! I thought that might happen w/ the recent portal 1 update and epic story about that.

I never got portal either and I'm partial to Valve games. That gals voice was like a sleeping pill. I want more HL.
 
Fucking lame. Sure, portal was a great game, but we all want to see some progression in the HL story! With all of these other Valve releases and no talk at all about HL, HL is starting to seem like Valve put it on the back burner until they get their quick cash games out of the way.
 
YES!!! And it looks like it's not a prequel !! I hate prequels... What's the point of them, if you already know how the story will end?

Now, all they have to do is announce that P2 will come bundled together with HL2:EP3 and some other goodies aka Orange Box II and it will be beyond epic! It will be legendary!

The way Portal 2 was announced, with the audio files leading to ASCII messages and a progress bar read through a modem can very well be the most epic way of announcing your game, ever 😀
