Portable USB Notebook drives. Are they Apple compatible?

Trying to sell a 40Gb 2.5" portable drive and USB enclosure here at work.

Someone inquired about Apple compatibility. Anyone have any idea? Cuz, I don't.

An external drive? If so, then yes. All your potential buyer has to do is to reformat the drive to HFS+ (or FAT32 if Windows compatibility is really, really important).

Just format it to FAT32 and he can use it between Macs/PCs without any hassle. HFS+ if he wants full support/functions from his Apple. (journaling, security, etc)
