I posted this in Peripherals a few days ago without response.
After trouble with a memory stick on my last campout, I'm looking for an alternative to simply buying/carrying several memory cards on extended trips. I ran across I/O Magic Digital Photo Library which looks promising, and supports memory sticks, which I need for my sony.
I see its a rebadged VOSONIC X'S-DRIVE VP2030 (or vice versa) which seems to be a UK brand. They also have VOSONIC X'S-DRIVE II VP2060 which features an LCD display and USB 2.0 interface. Apparently you can even get the X drive 1 without a hardrive and add your own 2.5" internal hardrive. There is also the VOSONIC V-MP3H which includes some playback and viewing options as well.
I can get the I/O magic Digital photo Library 20GB model for $179 US, the Vosonic models all look expensive and overseas. Is there something else I can use instead?
