portable case - recommendations

anybody know of a good case for portability, but can hold a full size atx (say a asus a7v)?

i'm throwing together a spare porta-box for misc use at work, friends' houses, etc., but i want to keep it small (without going towards micro atx or one of the other small form factors).

any ideas for a case? it will need to accomodate a burner and two hds.

Might want to check out the offerings Here, particularly the Fong Kai 604. They offer it with PSU options suitable for AMD systems.

If you want much smaller, the only answer is MATX. Those same people sell this cute little item: Matx
Not really suitable for AMD T-Birds, maybe Durons, definitely OK for Non-O/C Intel systems. Only holds 1 HD. There are better pics and description Here

I have the inwin s500 and its a decent lan can. Average sized mid tower but its solid and easy to wrap your arms around it to carry. The enlight 7237 is a bit longer and taller than the s500 so its less ideal. The fong kai is nice but is definately not portable.
Any smaller than these and you will lose the rear fan exhaust.

what's the difference between the inwin a500 and the s500? i have the a500 for another machine at work (i like inwin). the only thing i noticed up front is the s500 is a little taller.

i'm probably sticking with inwin from what i've been seeing in the realm of mid/mini-tower atx cases.

take a look at the pics, s500 has a rear fan slot. a500 power supply sits over the cpu so large heatsinks or slockets will be a very tight fit

I'm using an Asus Elan Vital T-5 and it is a pretty decent case considering I have a fully loaded system with 2 HD with Asus A7V with a Duron.
