Port Fowarding.

Hey I was just wondering if its possible and if its correct to foward the same ports to the same private IP. I currently use Linksys with the 4 port router. In order to use a P2P software I have to foward the ports, but i use the software on both of my computers. Some1 had told me to foward port 6881-6889 (the port that the software uses) to both computer.

Anyways if what that person is correct then does it mean that a port could be shared among more than 1 computer?

Can you specify a different portt range for the 2nd program 2 use say 5500 - 5510 then forward that range into the 2nd pc.
