Port Forwarding

I've recently learned that to use the WoW Updater effectively, you have to set up port forwarding. To be specific:

Be sure that the router configuration has Ports 3724, 6112, and 6881 through 6999 forwarded to your computer, and only your computer.

I opened up the utility for my MS MN-700 Wireless router and I'm just not sure what numbers to put where.

wrong page. you want a regular port forward, unless WoW specifies a trigger port to get things started. From the manual, page 23: "security menu, click port forwarding, and then click set up persistent port forwarding"

Forward those ports to your computer's Ip address, the 192.168. blah blah blah blah bla one

So, in the "Private port(s)" boxes, I put the same port number as the "Inbound port(s)"? (It won't let me leave them blank.) If not, how do I know what to put there?

yes, use the same port for inbound port and private port(s). The private IP is the IP of the machine running WoW. I think you will need three entries, one for 3724, one for 6112, and one for 6881-6999. In all cases inbound and private port number should be the same.

No need to be a jerk.

I did open the manual first, which wasn't helpful for someone who's never set up this type of thing, and then did a search on AT and the web.
