Port forwarding help please

I used to have a wireless connection, but since I realized I was only getting half the speed my dad had (he was hardwired) I decided to also hardwire my connection. There was one problem though, I had to use a switch cause all the plugs on the router were full. Ever since introducing this to my setup, programs like Azureus and Limewire can't connect to their home networks. Internet works fine though. I've tried that website that has guides for port forwarding, did what it said, and nothing changed.

Can someone help me?
