Popups continuing after cleaning

My mother's having problems w/popups.
I use Firefox almost exclusively on her machine, but cannot vouch for her.
I've noticed IE popups when i'm not even running IE, but Firefox.
I've used the Automated virus/spyware removal script provided in this thread & it detected & removed alot of things, however the problem's still there.
I then ran Super AntiSpyware & it caught & removed some things as well, but i'm still bothered by the IE popups when using Firefox (& my mother complains of popups as well when using IE). I also get alot of those "WinAntiSpyware" popups that I have to go into CTRL-ALT-Delete to stop.
I've fixed it where mom's account is limited, hoping she won't "accidentally" install anything.
Ideas? Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

One option would be to post a HijackThis log. download page I'm not a properly-trained HJT analyst but could probably help you in the right direction.

Also, does she have antivirus software? If so, what kind?

Yes, she's running Symantec Corporate Edition as well as Abacre.
She also has A-Squared & Superantispyware running in the background. Occasionally A-Squared will pick up on IE trying to open on its' own when i'm using Firefox.
She's 80 years old & doesn't have the patience to deal with this & I can't get it in her head to use Firefox.

Yep, she's got malware on there. The header on the HJT was cut off - I need to confirm which OS is she running?

She's 80 years old & doesn't have the patience to deal with this & I can't get it in her head to use Firefox.

Using FireFox doesn't make you immune to malware either. Maybe set her up a Limited account? That's what I've got my mom on, age 67 and definitely not computer-savvy. Since Mom's rig has XP Professional, it's also got a Software Restriction Policy
