POPUP BLOCKING

Hi all,
Can i anybody tell me how to block popups using internet explore,I know one method tools-internet options-security-changing security level zone,But i want another method,Because if i enable using above method i can't update windos and can't update norton defination.

Thanx

Download and run AdAware and SpyBot. Most pop ups are caused from spyware. If you just block pop ups you aren't getting rid of what's causing them in the first place. If you get rid of all your spyware, then you won't have to worry about pop ups much at all.

Lots of toolbars have pop up blockers built into them (GOogle, Yahoo,e tc) but if you don't remove the underlying cause of the pop ups you'll never be safe.

if u r using win xp... get service pack 2. otherwise, u can try the free panicware pop-up block, or the one made by bayden.com.

After the scans, and immunizing via SpyBot, also get SpywareBlaster for further immunity.
