do you really need that explained?

are you sad when someone in your family dies? it's because you'll miss their physical presence.

I can understand when a regular joe passes, sure, be sad. But for him? The church was his life. This is like the best thing that could happen to him in his beliefs (being re-united with God). It wasn't meant as sarcasm. This is the culmination of his work/life.

I can understand when a regular joe passes, sure, be sad. But seriously, for him the church was his life. This is like the best thing that could happen to him in his beliefs (being re-united with God). It wasn't meant as sarcasm. This is the culmination of his work/life.

Many people who are Catholic or Christian don't really believe in God when it comes down to it.. it is hard for them to understand this.

Its sad to see people die who one believes had a positive influence on society. That will be missed. Perhaps it is selfish to be sad, perhaps it is out of concern or caring for society.

Though I disagreed with much of his values, he did a lot of good in this world, and he was a good person.

I'm not very religious, but for somone to die that is that important to so many people who does good things for those people and to help those who aren't those people, it's sad to hear.
