did you saturate it with water? it should soften it up a lot...

No I didn't. Water wasn't on at the house yet. I would be more inclined to do it, but I need it done by August 1 because I have people moving in.

No I didn't. Water wasn't on at the house yet. I would be more inclined to do it, but I need it done by August 1 because I have people moving in.

I did our old house's ceiling before selling. The painting contractor wanted a fortune. Bought a long handled scraper that holds small bags at the big box store, used a 2 gallon pump up garden sprayer. It really was easy, and we saved nearly 2 grand.
(the neighbor got a hose?)
