I've been using easycgi for a few years now as both a webspace provider and an email provider. When I first started with them, I could check my email via pop3 on my PC, but not on my Smartphone. I contacted them about it, and they changed something on their servers to fix this. I have no idea what they changed. They've recently changed servers, and I'm now finding that my mobile (now iPhone) cannot connect to my pop3 account (even though my PC can). This seems to be the same problem as before, and is probably caused by their new servers not having the change they made to fix it originally. It's a few years later now, and they're telling me that their end is fine and it must be my end that's wrong. I'm pretty sure this isn't the case. Does anyone have any idea what the setting they may have changed on their end the first time around may have been? What's the difference between a mobile checking pop3 and a PC?
