Pop-up killer software - any suggestions?

I need something to get rid of those super anoying pop ups in my web browser. Any suggestions for a good pop-up killer software and where i can get it?

I've heard that the latest Mozilla release is supposed to have a preferences option to do this, but I haven't tried it yet.

My favorite was Proximatron but I can't find it anywhere on the internet now. I'm not sure if it works with win 2000. If you want it PM me and i'll send it to you. It was either free or I have the shareware version saved in my backups, can't remember which.

IMO, I'd recommend PopUpKiller. I've been using it for a while and have been very pleased with its performance.

Try Opera. It's an awesome browser with an easy way to set a pref to stop popups.

web washer is cool. gives you the option to run through a proxy too. another great pop-up killer
is called killad. google it.

If you're only using IE for browser, try the old version of Advertising Killer or POW. They are not as bloated as the other pop-up killer software
