pop up/ad blocker

I've used a couple, but they don't work exactly like I want. I used the one in Tweak XP but it still allows the pop up, just blocks the info. What is that? If it still still has to pop I might as well see it.
Anyone have better suggestions?

seriously, that is THE BEST one. i've tried all of them... either they don't work too well, or they work via proxy (slows down stuff). this is bar none the best.

I agree that Pop-Up Stopper Pro is the best out there. I have used it for over a year now and it works perfect

meaya looks good. a pity its not free. do a search for killad. it may not be as smart
as meaya appears to be but its effective. pop-up killer is bloated.

You can use the free browser Opera, which disables popups without the need for an add-on program. You can also quickly reenable popups from the context menu, or tell popups to only appear in the background.

Gopunk nailed it! I've used all of them as well and this one is by far the best. I never got used to having to hold down the shift key to open another window using popup killer.

i like popup killer actuallly.. considering i don't want to pay for it However, it recently started killing my anandtech windows... depending on what was in the title... didn't make any sense.. before that it worked perfectly.
