I think these double standards things are blown out of proportion.

Like affirmative action, women's right's, etc....

Do women get discriminated against? sure....do men? sure

Do whites? yes Do blacks? yes

i think what she's currently doing is a method of changing it. And Elfenix said something about her being talentless... Her songs may suck, but she's got a nice voice. I guess it's just cool amongst nerds to call anyone who makes it on MTV talentless.
