Pop 3 Email Notification

Is there any free Pop3 email notification program? It's for my grandmother. She wants a program that will automatically check her Pop3 account, and notify her if there is any new mail.

I use Outlook and I know it can do it.

What do you mean "notify her"? Interrupt her while she's in the middle of bingo or something?

Outlook express can be set to play a sound (the default sound can be modified too), and she might here it. Or you could look for a program that sends her an email when she has new mail. Trillian will check pop3's I believe too.
