Borderline troll post, but....

Sorry to say it but he was in a private club doing comedy. Come on now. It's no worse than what I've heard Chris Rock say.

Besides. He is protected by the 1st Amendment.

So, to answer your question, nothing. Let it slide.

Absolutely nothing...the guy broke down and went into a rampage...if he has an anger management problem, that is for him to contend with...that this story has national media attention, with Jesse Jackson now stepping in as moderator and counselor, is absurd.

Even if Richards is a flaming racist...who cares...his career is essentially over.

I heard several news commentators last night on a local station discussion the implications the Richard's story will have on Seinfeld DVD sales going into the holiday season...we are a nation at war, but DVD sales and racial tirades are headline news???

That's just it - We're not at war. We're in conflict. We haven't declared war on another country since WW2.

His career was basically over anyway so..... what does it matter? He apologized, case closed.

Time for a career change . . . perhaps publshing an almanac?

And I beg to differ with all those who are saying his career is over. First of all, yes, what career? But also, it has been repeatedly proven just how impossible it is to embarass a public figure into silence -- Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Dick Cheney, Madonna, George Bush -- they lie, they say ugly, stupid things, they lie some more, but they keep on yapping.

The question needs asking: In modern day America, just how much of a complete ass do you have to make of yourself in order to be forcibly retired from the public scene?

I'd say the bottom line has yet to be plumbed. :(

What? He has to include a democrat in there as well? How would that help his point?

Actually, we're a MILITARY at war (which is a reason for our problems there). But I totally feel your sentiments on the Richards fiasco. Who gives 2 sh!ts...
