I am having issues with my brand new "toy:. I bought a Adpated 2400a ATA Raid card with my tax return and after reloading the system and running some benchmarks I am at a losst. With HD Tach I am getting 21/6 mbs while ny other single drive does a little better. Sandra Soft is the same as well. I have loaded the latest BIOS and the drivers are included on the XP CD. Im I missing something simple: Here is what I have:

ABIT THII (latest BIOS)
P-4 2200
512 NB RAMBUS
Adaptec 2400A with the hdd
WD 100BB IDE0 ATA 100
WD 100BB IDE1 ATA 100 Setup as RAID 0
IBM 40GB Deskstar Setup as Single Drive
Windows XP Prof setup as a C and D NTFS Partition.

Could it be a NTFS issue or do the above mentioned benchmarks not detexting correctly?

Any help would be greatly apprciated!
Thanks,
Chris

That particular adapter is not known for high performance but for very low CPU utilization. You should have been better off with a Promise card for the price you paid for that one.
