My system:

Thoroughbred XP2100+
MSI KT3 Ultra2
512MB PC2700 Samsung
80GB Maxtor DiamondMax 9
SB Live!
Volcano 7+
BIOS 5.7

First, I tried 13x140 and it worked, next I tried 13x150 and it worked to.

So, I tried 13x160 and 13x166 and both didnt post. Whats wrong here? I saw a lot of people hitting those speeds.

I think its not my memory, its supposed to run ok at 166MHz, probably not the cpu too, because I saw a lot XP2100+ handle 13x166.

So, whats the problem? Some BIOS adjust or ather thing?

Pls help.

I have a MSI-KT3 Ultra with a 512MB PC2700 Samsung with a T-bred B AIUHB0304 2100+. Right out of the box, I posted and ran stable at 166x13 at 1.65V

I will be upgrading to an Antec TruePower 430 next week so maybe i can get higher speeds.

SLK-800 with Vantec Stealth, idle 35c, load 40c

I have the original BIOS (5.6 I think)

I'm quite sure its a T-bred B since the vcore default is 1.6V, I tried 1.675V.

I'm not sure about my PSU, it came with my Satellite case, the guy at store said its a 450W PSU and there is no label.

When you increased the CPU FSB, did that increase the memory FSB past 166MHz by any chance?

I can't post with 166 FSB, but when i run 133 FSB and memory CLKH+33 = 166, it works ok.

If u runnin it at HCLK+33, I think that may be a problem. Go to the advanced chipset features then go to dram settings or whatever and set it back to HCLK only.

Do u have the original KT3 ultra? I have an MSI KT3 ultra but i think it doesnt have that 1/5 divider thingy for the pci or agp. I wasnt able to get anywhere past 151x13 with my stuff. How were u able to achieve it?

I can run HCLK+33 with 133 FSB, but when i tried 166 FSB i used just HCLK.

According to this site the K from AXDA2100DKV3C means the chip Vcore is 1.65V but my BIOS is auto setting 1.60-1.625V.
